It was the first venue we looked at and Zane was convinced right away!
Zane and Sarah’s love story was a slow burn that began unexpectedly when they were invited as plus-ones on a double date by mutual friends. There was an instant spark, but both were content taking things slowly. After matching on Hinge a month later and crossing paths again soon after, fate finally brought them together for their first official date six months later. From there, their connection grew effortlessly, filled with laughter, shared adventures, and big dreams for the future.
Having previously worked at Kauri Bay, Sarah knew it was the perfect venue, and Zane agreed instantly, they booked it on the spot. Their vision was simple: a joyful celebration with their closest family and friends. One of their favourite moments was sitting at the bridal table, taking in the room and the love surrounding them. Their re-entrance to Waka Waka set the tone for the night, perfectly capturing the energy they wanted for their celebration.
Music played a huge role throughout the day, with the Piano Man keeping the dance floor buzzing all night. Thoughtful personal touches made the day uniquely theirs, including mini bottles of Amarula for guests as a nod to Zane’s South African heritage, and “table captains” tasked with getting everyone dancing when their song played.
Zane and Sarah’s wedding was the perfect blend of fun, sentiment, and personality, a heartfelt celebration of love, friendship, and the beginning of their forever.
